During the last week of June 2019, Duesseldorf Fair was the host of Bright World of Metals, the world’s most important trade fair platform for metallurgy and casting technology, which includes four trade fairs: GIFA, NEWCAST, THERMPROCESS, and METEC.
This event gathered around 72 500 visitors from 118 countries and 2 360 exhibitors from all over the world. Among 489 exhibitors at METEC, 8Sigma was also presenting their services and unique software solution platform 8Sigma MES.
Since most of 8Sigma’s references are related to the metals industry, METEC is the best place to present benefits and features of 8Sigma MES and its impact while bringing Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things to the steel factories.
In order to provide potential customers with a complete service, 8Sigma also hosted their partners from qoncept, specialized in defining mathematical models for steel production, as well as experts from IntelUp, a company specialized in Level 1 industrial automation of machines of all generations.
During this 5-day event, 8Sigma’s booth has been visited by visitors from all over the world who had an opportunity to get answers on their specific questions and to have an individual presentation about 8Sigma MES which can be completely adjusted to the needs of each client.
It has been the first time ever that 8Sigma presented their services at METEC.
“We are honored to be a part of METEC 2019 and to provide visitors with the wider overview of possibilities that can digitalize and significantly improve production processes in the steel industry. For us, METEC is one of the most important events in the steel industry and I am sure that in the future, we are going to become a traditional exhibitor.”, said Co-Founder and Director at 8Sigma, Mr. Vladimir Lukić.
The next Bright World of Metals, comprised of the leading trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS & NEWCAST will be held in June 2023 and the precise date will be set over the next few months.
