For the first time, 8 Sigma will represent their services and career opportunities to the visitors of the Job Fair.
The event, which will take place on May 15th to 16th at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, will gather more than 4000 students from technical faculties from Zagreb and other cities.
It will be a great opportunity to present the students with possibilities for employment and professional development as well as with other benefits that they can get by joining 8Sigma’s team.
Manufacturing Execution System is an interesting topic for the students because it gives them an opportunity to develop a software solution that manages large production processes and brings them Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things by using the newest technologies. It requires a sophisticated approach to programming, which makes this job interesting and challenging for all passionate IT experts, especially for those at the beginning of their career.
In order to explain what MES actually means and what are benefits of implementing this software to the production processes of various factories, Marko Šatrak will hold a lecture “Tvornica bez MES-a, k’o burek bez mesa”, loosely translated as “A Factory Without an MES, What a Mess!”.
This lecture will provide the students with more information about the reasons why more and more factories implement MES and how MES can help them to reduce costs, improve production processes and product quality, increase effectivity and productivity, and finally, to support company’s management in making crucial decisions that are important for the company’s sustainability and growth.
